An Interactive Creative Craft Workshop with Tuaca Kelly
Poetry can be elusive and illuminating, rhythmic and out of sync, abstract or manicured for precision - and it can also be yours.
But where do you begin when you’ve convinced yourself that poetry is for “other” people? And how do you return to writing when creativity has started to feel intimidating, overly serious, or simply out of reach?
(Re)entry: Poetry & Prose is an invitation to enter - or re-enter - reative writing through curiosity, experimentation, and play.
Led by Tuaca Kelly, this practical, interactive workshop will take participants through creative exercises designed to loosen expectations, spark new ideas, and explore different ways into poetry and prose. Rather than worrying about whether something is “good,” we’ll focus on discovering what happens when we give ourselves permission to write, experiment, and surprise ourselves.
The workshop welcomes writers and non-writers, poets and non-poets, the poetry-curious, experienced writers in need of a creative reboot, and teachers looking for fresh exercises to bring into their own practice.
In other words: if you have a pencil and a little curiosity, there is a place for you here.
✨ No previous writing experience needed

🚪 Doors open at 14:30
