Body Poetry: A Creativity Workshop

€15.00

Body Poetry is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with the wisdom that exists beneath the noise of everyday life. Through a blend of creative writing, guided reflection, gentle movement, and poetry exercises, we will explore the relationship between body, emotions, memory, and self-expression.

Our bodies hold stories long before we find words for them. They remember moments of joy, grief, longing, courage, tenderness, belonging, and transformation. This workshop creates space to listen to those stories and translate them into language.

Together, we will explore what happens when we write not only from the mind, but from sensation, intuition, and lived experience. Rather than striving for perfect sentences, we will practice presence, curiosity, and honest expression. Through carefully guided exercises, participants will be invited to notice, feel, imagine, and create from a place of deeper connection with themselves.

Body Poetry is not about being a writer. It is about being human.

Whether you are an experienced poet, a curious journal keeper, or someone who has never written creatively before, you are welcome. All you need is a willingness to explore, listen inward, and trust the process.

Join us for an afternoon of reflection, creativity, and connection as we discover the poetry that already lives within us.

When: Saturday, July 4 | 15:00–16:30
Where: NIO House Amsterdam
